Hi there I’m Amelia.

I’d like to tell you a few things about myself.

I love to;

TEACH
LEARN
PLAY
AND INSPIRE!

Sport and coaching has always been something I have been drawn too.

I have a strong belief for the importance of Leadership and in my high school years was given the opportunity to be a head prefect at Mount Albert Grammar School in 2018.

For me Tennis coaching is a very rewarding occupation. The enthusiasm and excitement I see on my pupils faces makes me smile. Each lesson I have the ability to help someone learn and grow. Whether that might be teaching an individual a new tennis skill or teaching important life skills such as connection and interaction amongst one and other – giving them the foundation to help them pursue their dream… In being a coach I am learning each day. I am constantly taking on board the knowledge and ideas of people around me.

I have been actively involved in sport from a young age. Having a love for adventure and the outdoors. I represented a premier sports Team at MAGS and have been selected to represent Auckland in sporting events during my high school years. I started coaching early on in high school ranging from coaching competitive netball to coaching beginner tennis lessons after school and being a voluntary netball coach at Balmoral Primary school for multiple years.

I was the Junior Tennis Champion at MAGS and since leaving high school have continued my tennis journey!

At the young age of about 7 I remember rocking up to Eden Epson Tennis club! Now here I am being a recent member to join the Tennis Monsters Coaching Crew.

The community and spirit of both the coaches and members here at Tennis Monsters is something special

I hope you decide to pursue your tennis journey with me too!

Amelia
